crsolar.ie · prepared for CR Solar only

Your site hasn't been touched since May 2024, and Google shows it to no one

This review is about what your website brings in, and what stops it. We went through the site, your search rankings and your reviews. The site has five pages: home, about, services, gallery, contact. None of them have changed since May 2024. Google tracks five searches for the site, all of them landing on the bare homepage, and every one sits between 33rd and 95th place. None of it produces a single measurable visit. It's all detailed below, with what to do about each one.

01 The rankings

Five searches, one page, none of them working

Google tracks exactly five searches for crsolar.ie. All five point at the same place, your bare homepage, because that's the only page on the site with any real content aimed at a search. None of the five gets close enough to the front page to bring in a visit.

What people GooglePeople / monthYour situation
solar companies ireland21067th. No page built for this search specifically.67th
solar energy companies ireland39079th.79th
solar panels waterford17095th, on page ten. Nowhere near a click.95th
solar panels carlowYour own home county. Not one of the five tracked searches.Absent

Every one of these searches lands on the homepage because there's nowhere else for Google to send them. There's no dedicated Carlow page, no page built around any of the counties the site claims to cover, and no page written specifically for a homeowner, a farmer or a business owner searching for solar in their own area.

Bottom line: Five searches, five losses, and not one of them is even your own county.
02 The specifics

Four things holding the numbers down

The team photos and project photos on the site are real, not stock, and that's worth keeping. These are the specific gaps stopping the site from being found.

Stale
Nothing on the site has changed since May 2024
Every one of the five pages, home, about, services, gallery, contact, carries the same last-updated date. Over two years with no new page, no new post, nothing new for Google to look at.
Stale
The grant figure on the homepage is out of date
The domestic tile states "grants up to €2100." The real SEAI solar PV grant cap in 2026 is €1,800. A visitor checking the real figure elsewhere will notice the mismatch before they ever pick up the phone.
Missing
No page targets Carlow or any county
The site covers 19 counties per your own listing, and not one page names any of them. Google can't show the site for "solar panels carlow" if no page on the site is about solar panels in Carlow.
Hidden
5.0 stars from 11 reviews, shown nowhere
A genuinely strong rating, and the site never mentions it. No star number, no review count, anywhere on the homepage or the quote form.
Worth noticing

The photography and the "Why Us" content are genuinely fine, this isn't a design complaint. The site is five pages doing the work of one, built two years ago and never expanded. Getting found means adding the pages that were never built, not redesigning the ones that exist.

Bottom line: The photos are real. The site around them just stopped growing in 2024.
03 Done for you

The fixes, already written out

Each fix below is ready to hand to whoever manages the site.

Fix 1 · New text for your Google listing
This is what shows up when CR Solar comes up on Google today, next to what it should say.
What Google shows now

CRSolar – Install and Supply of Solar PV renewable energy systems
Install and Supply of Solar PV renewable energy systems
What it should show
https://crsolar.ie
Solar Panel Installers Carlow | CR Solar
Domestic, commercial and agricultural solar PV installation in Carlow and surrounding counties. 5.0 stars from 11 Google reviews. Free quote.
Fix 2 · The pages the site is missing
Ordered by search size. Each one gives Google a page to show where today there is none.
/solar-panels-carlow/ → owner: whoever manages the site, your own home county, currently untracked
/solar-companies-ireland/ → owner: same, 210 searches a month, currently 67th on the bare homepage
/solar-panels-waterford/ → owner: same, if you cover Waterford, a page beats sharing the homepage
/reviews/ → owner: same, a simple page showing the 11 reviews and 5.0 rating
Fix 3 · The quick fixes
Smaller items, each one a few minutes' work.
Correct the €2,100 grant figure to €1,800 , the current SEAI solar PV cap
Update the 2024 footer copyright , one line of text
Add "5.0 stars from 11 Google reviews" near the quote form , the rating is real, it just isn't shown
Bottom line: The Carlow page and the correct grant figure matter more than anything else here.

Decide the platform question first. If you're adding county pages, a reviews page and a proper gallery anyway, price both options: building them into the current five-page site, or building a new site around them. The second is often less work, not more.
one call
Bottom line: The site has stood still for two years. Any of these moves it forward.
05 What it adds up to

Run your own numbers on it

The size of it

0 visits a month arrive from Google today.

Five tracked searches, all between 33rd and 95th place.

Your own county, Carlow, isn't tracked by Google for this site at all.

Right now Google adds nothing to the business. Every job comes in without it. "Solar companies ireland" alone is 210 searches a month nationally, and that's before counting a dedicated Carlow search once that page exists. You know your close rate and your average job value. Any ranking at all is new business against a floor of zero.

Bottom line: There is no downside case here. The site currently earns nothing from Google.
Why sooner beats later

Other Carlow and south-east installers are already building the county and service pages this site never built. A two-year-old five-page site with 42 real linking domains still has a base to build from, but that advantage narrows every month it stays untouched.
